Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi

Arrive at Delhi International Airport, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure before your Buddhist pilgrimage begins. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02 : Delhi – Agra

After breakfast, drive to Agra and visit the magnificent Taj Mahal and the historic Agra Fort. Later, relax at your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Agra.

Day 03 : Agra – Sankisa – Lucknow

Drive to Sankisa, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites where Lord Buddha is believed to have descended from heaven. Explore the ancient ruins and Ashokan Elephant Pillar before continuing to Lucknow for an overnight stay.

Day 04 : Lucknow – Sravasti – Varanasi

Travel to Sravasti, where Lord Buddha spent many monsoon seasons preaching the Dharma. Visit Jetavana Monastery and other important Buddhist sites before continuing to Varanasi. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 05 : Varanasi – Sarnath – Bodhgaya

Begin the day with a visit to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Explore the Dhamek Stupa and monasteries before driving to Bodhgaya for an overnight stay.

Day 06 : Bodhgaya Sightseeing

Visit the UNESCO-listed Mahabodhi Temple, the sacred Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana (Diamond Throne), Sujata Village, and international monasteries. Spend the evening in meditation or at leisure. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

Day 07 : Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Patna

Drive to Rajgir, where Lord Buddha delivered many important teachings, and visit Gridhakuta Hill and Venuvana. Continue to the ancient Nalanda University ruins before reaching Patna for an overnight stay.

Day 08 : Patna – Vaishali – Kushinagar

Visit Vaishali, where Buddha gave his last sermon and announced his Mahaparinirvana. Continue to Kushinagar, the sacred place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. Overnight stay in Kushinagar.

Day 09 : Kushinagar – Lumbini

Cross into Nepal and visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Explore the Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Garden, Ashoka Pillar, and international monasteries. Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Day 10 : Lumbini – Gorakhpur Departure

After breakfast, drive to Gorakhpur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of India’s most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites.

Day 11 : Breakfast at hotel.

Morning leave Mararikulam for Cochin airport or from Kovalam to Trivandrum airport to catch International flight for Onward Destination.
