Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

On arrival in New Delhi, the guests will be received at the International Airport by the Castle & King rep. – please keep a lookout for him as soon as you collect your luggage and walk towards the exit gate in the arrival terminal (we request you not to leave the terminal building until the rep. has made contact with you and there is a lot of construction presently at the airport). Assistance and transfer by car to the hotel where room is reserved for immediate check-in. Overnight will be at Delhi.

Day 02 : Delhi

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Delhi, the capital of many ancient and medieval empires, is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River and has a history spanning more than 3,000 years. According to legend, Indraprastha, the capital of the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era, was located near the Old Fort. Today, Delhi is a fascinating blend of Old Delhi and New Delhi, showcasing both Mughal and British influences.

At 10:00 AM, your car, driver, and guide will report to the hotel for the sightseeing tour.

Begin with Old Delhi, visiting the magnificent Red Fort, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638. Opposite the fort stands the grand Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Enjoy a memorable Rickshaw Ride through Chandni Chowk, exploring its narrow lanes filled with silver shops, antique stores, saree shops, incense, traditional Ittar perfume shops, and the historic Bird Hospital. Continue to Kinari Bazaar (Bridal Market) and the vibrant Spice Market, both offering excellent photo opportunities.

Drive past the impressive India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace) along the grand Rajpath (King’s Way), lined with ornamental ponds and century-old trees. Visit Gandhi Smriti (Mahatma Gandhi’s Residence), now a museum dedicated to his life and legacy.

Stop for lunch at one of Delhi’s renowned restaurants (lunch on direct payment). Castle & King recommends Bukhara, Olive Beach, Spice Route, Ego Thai, Olive, Taipan, Oberoi 360, The Veda Restaurant, or 1911 Gardens. Advance reservations are recommended.

After lunch, continue your exploration of New Delhi with a visit to the iconic Qutub Minar, the 13th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. Next, stop at the Mahavir Statue, perched on a hill near Qutub Minar, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Drive past the impressive Chattarpur Temple Complex, one of the largest Hindu temple complexes in India.

In the evening, visit the beautiful Humayun’s Tomb at sunset, one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 03 : Delhi – Agra By Road: 220 km / 05 hrs

After breakfast at the hotel, our car report to the hotel and provide immediate transfer to Agra by road – approximately 5 hours driving times. En-route stops at the Midway restaurant to use the facilities etc. En-route explore the Sikandra Tomb. On arrival in Agra, the guest will be received by Castle & King’s representative at the hotel who assist in check-in and provide time for the sightseeing. AGRA: Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire – giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat {seat of the Emperor}. Today a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favourite city of the Mughals still retains. It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects its Mughal heritage most conspicuously. A walk down the narrow bustling streets of the city will introduce the visitor to the wafting aroma of Mughlai cuisine. In the afternoon, proceed for the sightseeing of the city visit to The Agra Fort also built by Akbar in1565 Ad – the construction is dominated by red-sandstone and houses the beautiful pearly mosque also it is from here that Shah Jahan imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb looked across the Yamuna River in the last few days of his life at the Taj Mahal. In the afternoon also visit Itmadullah Tomb known as the Baby Taj Mahal and built between 1622-26 Ad by Nur Jahan the wife of Jahangir in memory of her father Ghias-ud-Din-Beg. From Itmadullah’s Tomb – a wonderful view of the River and the public laundry can be seen which is very interesting. Enjoy evening at leisure in the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 04 : Agra – Katni – Bandavgarh BY TRAIN

Early in the Morning proceed to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise – perhaps one of the best times to view and visit the monument. Enjoy battery van ride to the Taj. After relaxed breakfast enjoy the Hotel facilities. After early breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri: The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable fairytale city and its “ruins” are in pristine condition … it’s not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur. Also visit the Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world. After visiting the fatehpursikri drive back to the Hotel and relax and late in the evening our company representative will give you transfer to the railway station for the train to Bandavgarh. Overnight Train.

Day 05 : Katni to Bandavgarh By Surface: 170 Km 2 Hrs

Upon arrival our company representative will meet you and then picking up some fruits, juice and water for the journey proceed to Bandavgarh. Reach and Relax in the resorts. Bandavgarh is a new National Park with a very long history. Set among the Vindhya hills of Madhya Pradesh with an area of 168sq miles (437sq km) it contains a wide variety of habitats and a high density of game, including a large number of Tigers. This is also the White tiger country. These have been found in the old state of Rewa for Many years. Maharaja Martand Singh captured the last known in 1951. This white Tiger, Mohun is now stuffed and on display in the Palace of Maharaja of Rewa. Prior to becoming a National Park, the forests around Bandavgarh had long been maintained as a Shikargah, or game preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa. Overnight stay will be at the hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 06 : Bandavgarh

Enjoy a full day game viewing inside the jungle. (Two safaris, Private Exclusive) Overnight will be at the resort. (B,L,D) (TALA ZONE).

Day 07 : Bandavgarh

Enjoy a full day game viewing inside the jungle. (Two safaris, Private Exclusive) Overnight will be at the resort. (B,L,D) (TALA ZONE)

Day 08 : Bandavgarh – Jabalpur – Delhi Flight

Enjoy a morning safari inside the jungle. (One safari, Private Exclusive) After lunch our company representative will give you transfer to the Airport for the flight to Delhi, reach and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight will be at the Hotel.

Day 09 : Delhi – Home

After breakfast drive to Delhi, reach and explore the Delhi again, Late in the evening proceed for the farewell dinner, after the dinner our company representative will give you transfer to the International airport for the flight to Home with sweet memories of India.

Day 10 : Amritsar / Haridwar / Rishikesh

Morning after breakfast at hoteltake train to Haridwar. Arrive and continue drive towards Rishikesh. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Rishikesh

Today we will visit temples and watch an evening Aarti on the banks of river Ganges. Overnight ay hotel.

Day 12 : Rishikesh / Haridwar / Delhi by train

Morning take train to Delhi. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 : Delhi / Departure

Morning after breakfast at hotel you will be transferred to airport for flight to your home town.
